I am a writer, filmmaker, and parent with 20 years of experience producing films, commercials, and complex events. Most recently, I’ve spent two years consulting for nonprofit organizations, where I helped support organizations with grant writing and diversifying revenue, project management, and incubating new initiatives—work that deepened my ability to shepherd programs that are both sustainable and impactful. Before the nonprofit field, I led operations at an LED volume, managing projects for clients including HBO, Netflix, Paramount, and A24, while coordinating global teams to bring ambitious creative visions to fruition.

Becoming a mom reshaped how I pursued my own creative ambitions. Balancing work with the demands of parenting often meant sacrificing festival attendance, screenings, events, and networking opportunities that had once inspired and motivated much of my career. Living in a city with such a high cost of living, simply maintaining a work-life balance while ensuring my child’s health, education, and enrichment was a daily challenge. During a visit to my partner’s hometown of San Sebastián, Spain, I came across a flyer for La Ballon Rouge/El Globo Rojo/Puxika Gorria childcare program, timed with the city’s esteemed film festival. Reading about their offerings, I felt immediately affirmed and seen as someone who needed this exact kind of support—and I began to dream about bringing a similar model back to the U.S.

I believe cultural experiences should be accessible to everyone, not limited by circumstance. That conviction drives my commitment to creating a program that removes barriers for artists and audiences alike, so families can fully participate in the creative community. By combining my operational expertise, nonprofit experience, and passion for cinema, I am dedicated to building a thoughtful, reliable, and rewarding program that uplifts both the festival and the people who bring it to life.
