Akima is a long-time disruptor whose 20-year career spans public and private sectors, centered on equity, inclusion, and access. As Founder and Executive Director of Reel Families for Change, she architects work-life solutions for caregiving filmmakers.

Akima Brown

Brandi is Founder of The Cradle Company, a pregnancy and postpartum resource center. A Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Postpartum Doula, she teaches infant mental health at USC and founded the National Association of Birth Workers of Color.

Brandi Jordan

Kiva is a producer, writer, and programmer working in fiction and non-fiction. Host of Sundance's Film Club and former VP of Film at Barry Jenkins's PASTEL. Founder of cléo journal and writer of the newsletter Care Takes.

Kiva Reardon

Claudia is Founder, Director & Lead Teacher of Matilija Escuela Bosque, a bilingual, land- and play-based early childhood school rooted in Indigenous knowledge. She holds an M.Ed. from CSULA and a B.A. in Art from UCLA.
